Red Wings F Michael Rasmussen (knee) likely done for year

Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen is likely out for the season with a knee injury, coach Derek Lalonde confirmed Thursday.

Rasmussen, 23, was struck in the kneecap by a puck during the first period of Saturday's 3-0 home loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Through 56 games this season, Rasmussen collected a career-high 29 points (10 goals, 19 assists).
