Fabio Paratici’s Phone Buzzes With Antonio Conte Call After Tottenham Lose At Wolves

Cristian Stellini was in the dugout for Spurs’ trip to Molineux as they looked to bounce back from their FA Cup exit at the hands of Sheffield United.

They could not do so though and went down to defeat after Adama Traore, a former Tottenham transfer target, struck for Wolves with eight minutes left.

It finished 1-0 to the hosts and Conte did not lose any time in getting in touch with Paratici.

As Paratici headed through the mixed zone at Molineux, his mobile phone rang, with, according to The Times, the name ‘Antonio Conte mobile’ visible.

Conte is due to return to Spurs on Sunday as he looks to prepare the side for their Champions League game next week.

Tottenham are due to play host to AC Milan in north London in their last 16 clash, with the first leg having ended 1-0 to the Italians.

Spurs have now lost four of their last six games across all competitions and crashing out of the Champions League next week would be another blow.
