The treasury benches have been pressing for an apology from Gandhi for alleging that the voice of the Opposition was being muffled in Parliament and democracy was in peril in India. The Opposition has reiterated its demand for a JPC probe on the Adani-Hindenburg issue, 'misuse' of ED and CBI against Opposition leaders and Chinese incursions, among others. Congress has countered the government on Rahul's remarks, alleging that as Gujarat CM, Modi had criticised the UPA government during his China visit .
