The civic bodies polls in Nagaland are caught in a logjam. Nagaland state election commission cancelled its March 9 notification regarding election to the state’s three municipal and 36 town councils. Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) has decided to repeal the existing municipal law. Polls were scheduled to be held on May 16.
