Reality star signs massive money deal with pub chain after Prime Time launch
MADE In Chelsea star Harvey Armstrong has signed a massive money deal with a popular pub, bar and restaurant group.
Award-winning Barworks will now stock Prime Time after Harvey managed to impress owner Marc Francis-Baum.
Marc Francis-Baum made a reappearance on Made In Chelsea this week[/caption]Harvey was seen on the E4 show nervously pitching to the multi-millionaire businessman – who just so happened to be his love interest Issy’s dad.
Now The Sun can reveal a deal has been struck between the pair.
After sharing a brief romance in Bali last year, Harvey and Issy called it a day in the series launch show after deciding they’re better off as friends.
Harvey’s now firmly focussed on his craft beer company with his co-founder Sam Holmes, who was a fan favourite in Made In Chelsea when he joined in 2019.
Getting the go-ahead from Barworks to stock Prime Time is a clear move towards prioritising beer that’s better for you, says Harvey.
It’s gluten free, vegan friendly and is just 95 calories per bottle at 4.2% ABV.
“It has 30 per cent less calories than standard lager and 63 per cent less carbs,” Harvey explains.
“So you can drink three pints for the price of one because you’re saving 90 calories per pint.
“It means you can still enjoy yourself with no compromise. The taste is great, we’ve won awards for taste. We’ve just stripped out all of the unnecessaries.”
Reacting to signing the contract for Prime Time’s big money deal, Harvey told The Sun: “This is a very exciting partnership for us, helping us meet our goal of getting Prime Time Lager across all of the best, trendsetting bars in London and, eventually, globally.
“Barworks has some amazing venues that Prime Time drinkers will love.
“Deals like this demonstrate that there really is a demand for ‘better for you’ beer in London and we are cracking it.”
Marc founded dining space Mare Street Market in Hackney with chef Gizzi Erskine in 2018.
Barworks, which he co-founded in 1998, has food and drink locations all over London, including Gas Station in King’s Cross and The Starman in Mayfair.
He was also behind the launch of Camden Town Brewery in 2011.
