I’m a city girl who moved to the country to become a teacher – people say I’m a ‘queen’ and love my dancing
A TEACHER has admitted that she has grown to like country music and dancing after her big move from the city.
The Australian-based educating TikTok creator shared a video with her followers of almost 36,000 users on the app.
Georgia and Kayla (@coolteacherss) post on a shared page about being teachers.
In one clip, they wrote: “We won’t turn into country girls when we move to Central QLD.”
Central Queensland is a region of a state in Australia with land that’s more than 70,000 square miles, according to Queensland Government.
The video featured one of the girls sitting at her desk in a dress and sunglasses with screen text saying: “No, I would never teach in the country.”
Then the other is shown agreeing: “Yeah nah.”
They both gradually start to dance to country music singer Luke Bryan’s song Country Girl.
As they begin to jig to the popular country song, they change their sunglasses to a cowgirl hat and boot before going full-on “yee haw” with western dance moves that resemble throwing a lasso rope.
More than 15,000 viewers liked the humourous video.
Playing off of the country location the girls jokingly say they’d never teach in, a user commented: “Queens.”
On a more serious note, another user asked: “Do you recommend it?”
They added: “I’m graduating soon and don’t know if I’d like to go.”
The teachers replied from the account saying: “Absolutely! Best thing we ever did.”
“Omg I’m a country girl as well,” someone said.
The Aussie teachers responded: “Omg hi country girl.”
