Marisa Tomei & Lukas Gage are Both Down to Play the Same Role if Gwyneth Paltrow's Ski Crash Trial Ever Gets Made Into a Movie
There might be a showdown between Marisa Tomei and Lukas Gage over a part if fans get their wishes and Gwyneth Paltrow‘s recent ski crash trial gets turned into a movie.
If you missed it, Gwyneth‘s trial was a wild and wacky trip that ultimately ended with her being declared innocent of causing lasting damage to retired optometrist Terry Sanderson. He claimed that she ran into him while skiing years ago.
Because so much went down in the courtroom, including a request from the actress’ lawyer to bring in treats and questions about her friendship with Taylor Swift, some believe that there is enough material to make a movie.
Proponents of the idea have been churning out casting ideas, with both Marisa and Lukas being recommended to play a specific role. Since being mentioned, both have said that they’d be down.
Lukas even teased a director who could make the movie happen!

The actors were both floated as possibilities to portray Kristin VanOrman, an attorney who had some interesting exchanges with Gwyneth while questioning her at the stand. For instance, she’s the one who wanted to know more about Taylor. She also proclaimed that she was “so jealous” of the actress’ height.
Marisa saw the idea floating around on Instagram and commented on a post saying that she was into the idea.
“Bring it on,” she wrote in response.
Lukas, meanwhile, is actively campaigning to get Ryan Murphy to come on and make the movie, which is at present time not actually being made, a reality.
“Give me the opportunity to play this role. This is what I’m talking about, when people confuse actors for their real-life character,” he told People. “Of course, I’m not equipped to be a lawyer and be in this case, but God, I could bring that role to life. I would love to. Me and that blue suit.
He said that he and Ryan had to “make this happen” and also mentioned that his boyfriend Chris Appleton could help him transform into Kristin with a good wig.
