Aspiring tradespeople can face lack of support, employer reticence on apprenticeship journey

Despite intensified efforts to attract people to the skilled trades, the path to becoming a certified tradesperson can be filled with obstacles, including mixed messaging, difficulty getting support and some employers' reticence to invest in early apprentices.
