BBC Breakfast presenter still missing from show as co-star forced to replace them in hosting shake-up
THE BBC Breakfast presenter is still nowhere to be seen on the show – as her co-star steps in to host.
The flagship Beeb programme, which airs from 6am, is typically presented by Sally Nugent and Jon Kay from Monday to Wednesday.
Viewers tuned in to BBC Breakfast this morning and realised the presenter was missing and replaced by Nina Warhurst[/caption] One again Sally Nugent was missing from the iconic red sofa[/caption]But as viewers tuned in again this morning, Sally, 52, was nowhere to be seen, again.
Instead Jon, 53, opened the show alongside business presenter Nina Warhurst, 42.
Sally was once again missing from the iconic red sofa, leaving fans to speculate as to why.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “No Sally again on BBC Brekkie?”
Another added: “Why have they replaced Sally again on BBC Breakfast?”
A third penned: “I wonder why she’s been missing, #BBCBreakfast.”
Without mentioning Sally’s absence, the pair immediately updated the audience on the most recent events during the programme.
Nina also announced recently that she is expecting her third child.
Recently, Sally Nugent who is known for being notoriously private when it comes to her personal life, gave a glimpse at her wedding day.
The host gave fans a peek into her big day after a photo from her wedding ceremony appeared to be in the background of a classic photo of the TV star.
According to Sally’s BBC profile page, she is married with one son, thought to be aged 13.
