I’m 40 weeks pregnant and I did a bikini haul – some don’t even make it past my bump
A HEAVILY pregnant woman has been encouraged by her followers to bare her bump after she tried on her bikini haul.
She wasn’t sure if her baby belly should be on display, but her fans thought otherwise.
Influencer Hannah Hoeg (@hannahmaehoeg) is a Californian “wifey and first-time mama,” who aims to share her life with her 431,000 followers.
In a post to her TikTok, Hannah was planning a day on the beach but first had to find swimwear that would accommodate her growing bump.
As any pregnant mom will attest, finding anything that fits can be a challenge.
“So I’m 40 weeks and two days pregnant,” revealed Hannah, “and I’m going to the beach for the first time in my pregnancy.
“I wanted to try on some bathing suits that I have. None of the are new, so they were pre-pregnancy bathing suits.”
She had her fingers crossed hoping at least one would fit, but she fell at the first hurdle with the first one, a black one-piece.
This little number barely reached past her baby bump.
“This is where my boobs are supposed to be,” she joked as the swimsuit reached up to her belly and no further.
“Not off to a good start,” she remarked.
Next up was a candy-striped, shoestring costume.
“Okay, I was actually able to put it on.” But she wasn’t convinced.
“Not sure I feel the most comfortable in it.”
Next to try on was a white version with a with laser cut out at the front.
Her bulging belly was making this try-on challenging.
“Okay, I don’t know if these one-pieces want to play because they are very tight and this belly is showing too much,” she said.
Hannah was even less enamored of her next swimsuit, an umber-colored one with deep cleavage.
“Feeling like a sumo wrestler a little bit,” she said harshly of herself.
But her last item was a cute bikini, which appeared to be the winner in her collection.
“I’m probably just gonna wear this bikini and my big T-shirt,” she announced.
With a big smile and a big baby bump, she said: “Yay, now let’s go to the beach.”
Comments to her post thought Hannah looked lovely in all her swimwear.
“You look stunning,” was a comment typical of many.
Be proud of your pregnant look said many more.
“You look so beautiful in the last one. Show that bump before it goes away,” said this fan.
Similarly, another said: “You look fantastic in the last one. And you do not need to cover up, you look great.”
But Hannah’s swimsuit travails brought at least some light relief to one viewer: “I laughed so hard at the first one, I’m sorry. I’m 30 weeks pregnant and feeling the struggle,” she said in conclusion.
