Madeleine McCann news — Julia Wandelt DNA results prove Polish woman is NOT missing Brit girl

A WOMAN who claimed to be the missing Madeleine McCann has had her theory debunked after receiving the results of a DNA test.

Julia Wandelt, 21, took to social media earlier this year to claim she was the missing Brit, who vanished in Portugal in May 2007.

The Polish national requested a DNA test after claiming she had similar features to Maddie and wanted to speak with Kate and Gerry McCann.

However, according to Dr Fia Johansson, Wandelt is “100 per cent from Poland” and has some Lithuanian and Romanian heritage.

Dr Johansson, who flew to Poland to meet Wandelt, also claimed the 21-year-old has “very poor health” and plans to do further tests to ensure her wellbeing.
