I wanted a French manicure but was mortified with how it turned out – I almost called the police, it looked criminal
A WOMAN who wanted a classic French manicure on her acrylics was left mortified by the final design she left with.
Plenty of women like treating themselves to a pampering session, whether that’s getting their nails done, a haircut or even a spray tan.
The woman showed this design to her nail tech[/caption] But she left with her nails looking ‘criminally’ bad[/caption]Precilia Joanana is no exception, as she decided to head down to Woolwich, London, to get a new set of acrylic nails.
Sharing the nail fail on her TikTok account @preciliajoanana76, the young woman revealed that she didn’t quite get the manicure she was hoping for.
In the TikTok video, the beauty fan revealed the picture she showed the nail tech as inspiration for her own style of nails.
Precilia wanted a modern French manicure with a white ‘V tip’ and a baby pink base in a square shape.
Over the top of the video she used the sound: “These are so ugly.
“This is what I wanted, okay.
“And this is what I got.”
In the next clip she showed the nail design she ended up leaving with, and it’s safe to say it looks nothing like what she asked for.
Not only were the nails much shorter, but the pink base she hoped for was a dark beige colour.
To top it off, the white French tip was a standard square design rather than the elevated ‘V tip’ she had requested.
The white tips also didn’t start in the right place, the nail tech had started the white tip way too low making 3/4 of her nail white.
Precilia was clearly not happy with the final design and even called it ‘criminal.’
“This is the worst nails I’ve ever had in my life. I nearly called the police, these people are criminals,” she captioned the post.
“Guys I can’t make this s**t up, never doing my nails in Woolwich ever again,” she added.
The video soon went viral with over 115k views and over 1,300 likes.
People quickly took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “From when you saw the first nail finish why did you allow her to continue?”
Precilia replied: “Was trying to trust the process.”
Another person commented: “What the hell is this?”
“Christmas Argos nail set,” penned a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Auntie nails…”
