The 10th edition of the Sporting Nation Report 2023 notes that the ad spends on sports have crossed the Rs 10,000 crore mark for the first time due to the addition of two new IPL teams, the ICC T20 World Cup, the Asia Cup, the FIFA World Cup, the PKL, marquee marathons, the Maharashtra Open, the Commonwealth Games 2022, and the higher number of games played by the Indian men's cricket team.
