FIVE interior design experts have all revealed their biggest icks when it comes to home decor – so, are you guilty of any of them?
When it comes to interior design, everyone has their own personal taste.
While some opt for a more eccentric interior, others like to keep things far more traditional in their homes.
But if you’re looking to renovate and have no idea of what trends to follow or steer clear of, then you may just want to read on…
In a video shared to TikTok (@vinterior,) the woman filming can be heard asking a bunch of interior design gurus: “What is your interior ick?”
First on the list of things mention is crystal door knobs, followed by “signs around the house like ‘keep calm and drink gin.'”
A third interior design expert goes on to say how she strongly dislikes the black and white prints you can get of a London skyline that feature “like one red bus.”
Elsewhere, another points out that her ick is toilet mats.

Being more specific, she adds: “The ones that go round the base.”
And the final interior design guru explains that she’s really not a fan of feature walls.
“Paint all walls,” she urges.
The video was captioned: “Comment with your interior icks.”
It’s since gone viral, racking up over 84k views and endless comments from social media users online, with many quick to share their interior turn-offs.
“Anything ‘live love laugh’ in the bin,” wrote one.
A second penned: “Ikea small square mirrors stuck together to make a large one.”
A third commented: “Crushed velvet.”
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “And too much grey and mirrored furniture.”
A further chimed in: “Definitely the signs.”
And one more noted: “That mat is merely a urine catcher. Ew!”
Elsewhere, it seems that one response in particular caused quite a stir online.
“Crystal doorknobs in historic homes are awesome!” argued one.
A second agreed: “Crystal doorknobs? I love those! Mine are glass mirrors with a window frame around them.”
A third penned: “I am obsessed with crystal doorknobs.”
