I tried Primark’s £4.50 dupe of Bobbi Brown’s face base – it’s £44.50 cheaper and JUST as good
A BEAUTY fan has shared her new number one dupe buy that saved her a whopping £44.50 – but delivered exactly the exact same results.
And the best news is that the Bobbi Brown inspired product is from Primark and costs a much more impressive £4.50.
Social media user Kaitlin shares make-up and fashion tips and advice on her TikTok profile @klb.cosmetics.
These include when she has found a product that she wants to recommend to other people – particularly if it doesn’t break the bank.
And, in one of her most recent posts, the 21-year-old revealed to her 6000 plus followers how she’d spotted a Bobbi Brown Face Base dupe sitting on Primark’s shelves.
The popular Face Base product retails for £49 and has the tagline: “Multitasking, moisturising primer.”
Bobbi Brown’s website continues to say: “Our bestselling multivitamin-enriched moisturising primer for the face instantly nourishes, plumps, and preps skin with healthy hydration to improve the look of foundation.
“It’s full makeup prep in one step, blending the performance of a primer with the cushion of a face moisturiser.”
They also note that it is particularly good for those with a normal to oily complexion, and that the ingredients in the Grapefruit and Geranium scented lotion all work on different things.
Bobbi Brown explained: “A blend of Vitamins B, C, and E helps replenish and condition skin with essential nourishment.
“A moisturising complex of Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, and Shea Butter helps instantly hydrate, plump, and prep skin for a fresh, healthy-looking glow.
“Rich yet lightweight and fast-absorbing texture cushions skin and grips foundation for smooth, flawless makeup application.
However, Primark’s take on the skincare saviour called Prep + Perfect is just £4.50.
The store describes their version as a “vitamin enriched moisturising primer.”
They add: “With Oat Oil & Shea Butter to help support the skin’s moisture balance.
“Contains Vitamin E, Vitamin C + Niacinamide.”
And Kaitlin said she totally saw the comparison, as she wrote alongside a video of the product: “Bobbi Brown dupe at Primark.”
But Kaitlin isn’t the only one to praise the product that’s no doubt been flying off of shelves.
Other beauty obsessed social media users have also been speaking out on why Primark’s offering is just as good as the real deal.
One wrote: “Honestly the same, if not better!” As a second encouraged others to “run” to the store.
