People call my husband ‘gross’ and ‘sick’ because I look so much like his daughter… we don’t care as it’s true love
A YOUNG wife who looks like her step-daughter has revealed that people bash her husband as “sick”.
Savana Chapin, 28, married her older beau Chris, 44, over a year ago – but has cruelly suffered trolls saying he just wanted a “clone” of his daughter.
The mum-of-three is just seven years older than her step-daughter Tizzi, 21, and the pair consider themselves best friends.
Savana said: “Tizzi was initially very thrown off.
“I know that if I was Tizzi’s age and my daddy came home with a girl that was closer in age to me than my dad, I probably would have whooped her a**.”
She added that people find her age gap marriage “creepy”.
The lovebirds have been together for four years and met when Savana became a hairstylist at Chris’ salon.
At the time, Chris was going through a divorce with the mother of his first three children and Savana had just come out of a relationship.
Being around each other every day pushed the pair to connect on a romantic level.
Coworkers and friends called Savana a “homewrecker”, while others dubbed Chris an “abuser”, when their relationship started coming to light.
They have proved their critics wrong and now have three tots together, making their blended brood six kids strong.
Chris’ eldest child Tizzi is closest with Savana because they are similar in age and worked together in the family salon while the controversial relationship formed.
The young women both have long, wavy blonde hair and similar fashion sense.
They also show off their unique relationship on social media, pushing people to compare them.
The likeness is so striking that trolls have accused Chris of wanting a “clone” of his daughter.
Speaking with Truly, the family revealed the hate comments and trolling they are bombarded with from sharing insights into their unique dynamic.
Among the comments are people asking if Chris wants to date his daughter, calling him “gross” and branding him a “sick f**k”.
One troll cruelly said: “Someone check the dad’s internet history ASAP.
“He has to be in prison.”
Savana and Chris understand why their relationship is scrutinised but have slammed trolls that comment “sickest of the sick” things on their social media posts.
Savana retaliated: “We’re just one big family.
“It doesn’t matter what anyone says.
“We’re happy and that’s all that matters.”
