Amid the raging opioid crisis in the United States, in line with a 2021 settlement with three of the largest drug distributors in America, limits are currently in effect that sometimes block pharmacies’ orders of controlled substances, such as Adderall and Xanax, in cases where they exceed a specific threshold.
