I wore my Skims bralette, corset and leather pants out to dinner – it’s a great look

One woman worked her beloved bralette into an edgy outfit and showed how versatile the clothing can be.
Fashion vlogger Grace Liu (@gracemarieliu) curates stylish looks, then models them on her page as she travels the world.
In a recent video, she took the Skims bralette for a spin during an evening out.
Standing in front of a full-length mirror, Liu invited her followers to “get dressed with me” for a “dinner date.”
Her arms were laden with shoes, bags, and cool leather accessories to accompany her all-black look.
First, Liu modeled the Fits Everybody triangle bralette, $34.
The Skims bralette comes in nine neutral colors, plus a rotating selection of seasonal shades, but Liu went with basic black.
She wore the cropped bra with a pair of sweatpants at first while she got into her shirt.
Liu meticulously fastened the corset top around her waist, hooking it closed before swapping her comfy pants for some dinner-ready ones.
Keeping with the all-black theme, she put on a pair of vegan leather pants with a mid-rise waist.
The high-cut sides of the corset still allowed her to show some skin at the edges of her midriff and the center of her back.
Her footwear was still an issue: while getting ready, Liu wore a pair of white slippers that stood out like a sore thumb.
In the video’s description, she reassured followers that the name-brand shoes would not be leaving the house.
“I didn’t wear the Yeezy slides to dinner,” she swore.
Instead, Liu slid into some sparkly Alexander Wang heeled sandals.
The strappy black shoes had thin lines of embellishment which provided a nice contrast to the rock-star textures of her outfit.
And speaking of rock stars, Liu looked like one when she added the finishing touches to her look.
To keep warm on her walk up to the restaurant, she put on a puffy faux fur coat that looked just right over her corset top.
The cherry on top was a black Chanel purse with a metallic strap, which looked great with her shoes.
Liu smiled and struck a few poses before walking off-screen – presumably to meet her date.
