Former US President Donald Trump is due to surrender to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office today, where he will be fingerprinted before pleading not guilty. Although Trump's detractors would relish seeing him being walked down in handcuffs, he is unlikely to be handcuffed as he will be surrounded by armed federal agents for his protection. Furthermore, Trump had arranged a surrender with the district attorney’s office and will head straight to court, skipping a police station entirely. Trump will not be handcuffed and subjected to the so-called perp walk since he is not going to a police precinct first.
