Raquel Welch's Cause of Death Revealed After Passing Away at 82
Legendary star Raquel Welch sadly passed away at the age of 82 back in February.
Now, her cause of death has been officially confirmed via her death certificate. If you don’t know, Raquel was an actress and considered an international sex symbol who was known for work in projects including Three Musketeers, One Million Years B.C., Myra Beckrinridge, Kansas City Bomber, and more. She won a Golden Globe for her work in 1974′s The Three Musketeers as well.

According to her death certificate, obtained by TMZ, her official cause of death is listed as “cardiac arrest.” In addition, there’s another contributing cause of death listed, which is Alzheimer’s Disease. Raquel never publicly revealed that she had been battling Alzheimer’s.
If you don’t know, the CDC says that Alzheimer’s “is a progressive disease beginning with mild memory loss and possibly leading to loss of the ability to carry on a conversation and respond to the environment. Alzheimer’s disease involves parts of the brain that control thought, memory, and language. It can seriously affect a person’s ability to carry out daily activities.”
