Arunachal Pradesh has been granted Rs 22.74 crores as grant-in-aid by the Centre for their best performance in implementing the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) during 2022-23 under set parameters. The released funds will be used for periodic maintenance of rural roads already constructed under PMGSY. A total of 1096.24kms incorporating 61 long span bridges were constructed in the state during 2022-23, till December 2022. Rural connectivity being a top priority, Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his gratitude to the PM and Union Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh.
