Bootle stabbing: Woman rushed to hospital after being knifed during street fight between four youths
A WOMAN has been stabbed after a fight exploded between a group of youths in Liverpool.
Police charged to the scene on Abbott Drive, Bootle, at around 1.30pm on Tuesday following reports of violence.
The woman was rushed to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
She was stabbed with a knife after a fight erupted between four youths.
Emergency services remained at the scene as investigations into the horror are ungoing.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: “At around 1.30pm, we received a report of four youths fighting on Abbott Drive, and one woman was stabbed with a knife.
“Ambulance attended and has taken her to hospital with injuries which are not life threatening.
“Officers are currently at the scene to establish the circumstances and a cordon is in place.
“We ask that drivers avoid the area and find an alternative route.
“We thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident.”
