Cops hunt man after schoolgirl, 13, sexually assaulted on Stagecoach bus
COPS have launched a manhunt after a 13-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly sexually assaulted on a Stagecoach bus.
The teenager was a passenger on the number 17 bus, driving on St Domingo Road in the Everton area of Liverpool when she is said to have been assaulted at around 5.20pm on April 3.
Police want to question this man[/caption]The suspect is then thought to have left the bus and run off in the direction of Kirkdale Vale.
Police have now released CCTV images of the man they want to question regarding their investigation.
Detective Inspector Chris Saidi said: “This would have been very traumatic for the young girl and we are determined to find the person responsible.
“Everyone should be able to use public transport without the fear of being subjected to an incident like this.
“We think the man pictured may have vital information that could help our enquiries so if you know him, please come forward as soon as possible.
“If you were on the bus or recognise the man, then do let us know as any information you hold could support our enquiries.”
