Anitta & Record Label Warner Part Ways Following Her Battle to Get Out of Recording Contract

Anitta and Warner Music Group are splitting up.

The 30-year-old Brazilian superstar, who called out the label and put the CEO on blast while trying to get out of her recording contract, revealed in a joint statement that she is now free from the label.

“After eleven years of successful partnership, we’ve agreed to go our separate ways,” they said in a joint statement on social media.

According to sources, via Variety, the relationship between Anitta and the label became strained in recent years as “Envolver,” her 2022 global hit, struggled to have similar success stateside.
