Chelsea 0 Liverpool 0: James and Havertz goals ruled out but Saltor avoids defeat in first match since Potter sacking
BRUNO SALTOR began his temporary reign as Chelsea interim boss with a goalless draw against Liverpool – with two goals ruled out for the hosts.
Reece James had a strike chalked off for offside in the first half before Wesley Fofana made a brilliant block at the other end.
Kai Havertz got Stamford Bridge on its feet five minutes after the break when his initial shot was blocked by Alisson but bounced into the net.
He celebrated the goal wildly in front of his home fans.
However, a brief VAR review showed the ball came off his elbow and it was duly ruled out.
