IPL 2023: Alzarri Joseph’s Ripping Delivery Cleans Up Delhi Capitals Skipper David Warner

New Delhi: Delhi Capitals is facing Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in an attempt to secure their first win of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The hosts didn’t get the start they wanted as first Mohammed Shami dismissed Prithvi Shaw and Mitchell Marsh on low scores and when DC’s hopes were on its skipper, Alzarri Joseph dismissed David Warner and Rilee Rossouw on back-2-back deliveries.

David Warner was batting on 37 runs off 32 balls and was starting to look in good touch. Everyone thought that Warner will once again help DC recover from the early blows but that wasn’t in the plans of Alzarri Joseph as he cleaned up David Warner with a delivery.

However, he didn’t stop there and dismissed Rilee Rossouw in the very next ball. The credit for that wicket also goes to Rahul Tewatia for taking a stunning catch. Then on the very next ball, he created another close opportunity but failed to get the first hat-trick of the IPL 2023.
