Season Series: The Vees won all five games against the Smoke Eaters this season, with one win coming in the shootout. Penticton outscored Trail 32-9 over five games. Aydar Suniev led the Vees with 12 points (7G, 5A) in four games against Trail. Bradly and Josh Nadeau were right behind him with nine points each. Luca Di Pasquo had four wins in four starts and posted a 1.47 goals-against average and .942 save percentage in the season series.

Tonight: Penticton looks for a 3-0 series lead in Game Three tonight, at Cominco Arena in Trail. The Vees held court on home ice over the weekend, as they outscored Trail 16-6 in two wins. The Vees won 8-4 on Saturday, led by Bradly Nadeau’s second-straight hat-trick performance. Brother Josh Nadeau had four points (1G, 3A) and Mason Poolman and Ryan Hopkins each had three helpers.
The Vees won all three games at Cominco Arena in the Regular Season. Penticton won 2-1 in a shootout on November 12, before posting back-to-back 7-2 wins on January 13, and March 4. Last season, the Vees won both games in Trail by 2-1 scores in their first round matchup.
Bradly and Josh Nadeau have been tearing it up in the first two games of the series, but there is a couple others that are having great starts to the playoffs. Mason Poolman leads all BCHL defencemen with five points, all assists, through two games. Dovar Tinling has five points and Spencer Smith has scored in the first two games of this series.
Penticton will dress the same lineup as they did in the first two games of the series. Luca Di Pasquo is in between the pipes.

Tonight: Trail looks for their first win of the series and avoid going down 3-0 to the top seed in the BCHL Playoffs. Trail showed over the first two games they’re not going to go away quietly. Despite missing six regulars from their lineup, the Smoke Eaters were a pesky bunch, as they came all they way back from a 5-2 deficit to make it 5-4 going into the third period on Saturday.
Josh Schenk had a career night on Saturday, as the 18-year-old had a hat-trick and finished with four points. With so many regulars out, contributions from players like Schenk is massive for the Smoke Eaters.
Trail has used both their goaltenders this series, as Keegan Maddocks started Game Two on Saturday. Both goaltenders have each surrendered eight goals. Teagan Kendrick played Game One. He had the bulk of their starts in the Regular Season.
