Spurs are so bad that one angry former star can’t even bear to watch anymore

0

Jermaine Jenas has said on social media that he simply cannot watch his beloved Tottenham anymore after the Lilywhites delivered another uninspiring performance at Goodison Park.

Monday night’s fixture certainly did not lack in drama, with the second half seeing a red car for either side, a penalty, and a late screamer by Michael Keane.

However, the game did lack in quality with neither side being able to impose themselves on the encounter and control proceedings.

Despite playing a significant portion of the second half with a numerical advantage, the Lilywhites failed to create too many clear-cut chances and were happy to sit on their lead.

Some Spurs fans might have hoped for some improvement in performance levels following Antonio Conte’s departure but it was very much more of the same from the away side, who failed to see out the win yet again.

Jenas was far from pleased with the football on showing, admitting that he struggles to watch the team play.

Spurs Web Opinion

Most Spurs fans probably feel the same way regarding the side at the moment, with the football being extremely uninspiring and turgid.

Perhaps, the club erred by not giving Mason the reins until the end of the season as the players have evidently lost faith in this system.
