U.S. dollar rises amid economic data

NEW YORK, April 5 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar climbed in late trading on Wednesday as market participants digested fresh economic data.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, increased 0.27 percent to 101.8587.
