Given the lingering inflationary risks, RBI has also strongly reiterated its commitment to bring down inflation and further tighten monetary policy if required. Hence it has maintained the stance as withdrawal of monetary accommodation, given that a change to neutral stance could have been construed by the market as a policy pivot.
