Clifton Park death: Tragedy as child dies at park with cops launching probe
POLICE have launched a probe after a child died at a park on Easter Sunday.
Emergency services were rushed to Clifton Park in South Yorkshire after reports a youngster was fighting for its life.
Despite medics’ best efforts, the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
Locals reported seeing a large amount of police swarm the park, and a cordon quickly set up.
The horror unfolded around 4pm yesterday at Clifton Park on Doncaster Road, Rotherham.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance medics also rushed to the scene but the child tragically died.
A police spokesperson today told The Star that the child’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
Cops said they had launched an investigation, but would not be releasing any more information.
Clifton Park is a popular spot for families.
