I’m a fashion expert & there’s a top you need to ditch from your wardrobe immediately – it makes your boobs look so odd
A FASHION expert has revealed the one item of clothing that you must ditch from your wardrobe immediately – so prepare to be attacked and make sure you listen up.
According to closet organiser and stylist Caitlin Jaymes, white t-shirts with pockets on should be avoided at all costs.
Caitlin claimed that not only are these tops no longer trendy, but they aren’t flattering on your boobs either – regardless of their size.
Taking to TikTok to share her thoughts on the fashion faux pas, Caitlin posted her video with the caption ‘Retire the pocket.’
She said: “An item I would get rid of during a closet edit – yes, a white tee is a wardrobe essential, it’s also kind of hard for a white tee to ever be ‘out of style’. But I don’t really like the v-neck.
“I’m more into the crew neck right now because it’s more trendy.
“But this little pocket is why I would get rid of this type of tee.
“Any type of pocket is so awkward on your boobs – it’s either going to make your boobs look way too small or way too big.
“The pocket is never proportional.
“Get rid of it.”
Caitlin shared her clip just one day ago, but it has quickly amassed 54.4k views.
It has 1,050 likes, 38 comments and 9 shares.
But social media users were left divided at Caitlin’s comments – while some agreed and explained that they dislike t-shirts with a pocket on, others shared their love for such tops.
One person said: “THIS. The Madewell Whisper pocket T is TRAGIC.”
Another added: “No to the pockets!!!”
A third commented: “I’ve never liked v-necks.”
Someone else noted: “Love a v-neck as a busty woman, but I agree with the pocket! It has to go.”
However, not everyone agreed with Caitlin’s claims and others took to the comments to share their thoughts on v-neck tops.
One fashion fan posted: “Nope. V-necks are more flattering.”
Whilst another chimed in: “I feel like if you have bigger boobs, it’s gotta be a V.”
Meanwhile, another woman added: “V-neck is better than crew neck.”
