Matt Andersen is coming to the National Arts Centre on Sunday, April 16 with his new album, The Big Bottle of Joy, a splendid melange of gospel, rock, blues and soul that lives up to its title. From New Brunswick, Andersen made his name with passionate solo performances. This show will be especially sweet because he’s bringing a full band. In fact, it’s the same top-notch players who accompanied him in the studio, including the Nova Scotian sisters Reeny, Haliey and Micah Smith, responsible for those gorgeous backing vocals.
