House GOP talks big on repealing Biden's climate bill, but isn't acting
Since the day President Joe Biden’s big climate change bill, the Inflation Reduction Act, passed last August, the House Republicans have been vowing to repeal it. “Republicans must REPEAL it on DAY ONE,” Rep. Chip Roy spewed on Twitter. Well, we all know how “day one” went for them thanks to the Texas Republican Roy and his fellow maniacs who refused to seat Barely Speaker Kevin McCarthy until they had drained him of every drop of his already meager supply of dignity. About a month into the enterprise, the maniacs got around to introducing their repeal bill, which has gone nowhere.
