The rescuers did not notice the woman inside until they approached the almost completely emerged vehicle.

A missing woman was found inside a Jeep that was almost completely submerged in a large lake.
While out on Lake o’ the Pines in Marion County, Texas, on Friday morning, a fisherman spotted the black SUV.
Deputies got to the scene within 18 minutes and a tow truck was deployed. The SUV was about 40 feet out from Woody’s Camp Boat Ramp. The fisherman helped the tow truck worker get to the Jeep and hook a cable – which is when they made the surprise discovery.
‘It was at that time they saw the woman’ in the vehicle, Marion County Sheriff’s Office Captain Chuck Rogers told NPR.

The fisherman and tow truck driver rescued the woman from the Jeep and images showed them pulling onto the boat. Once on shore, the woman was put in a car for warmth and transported to a hospital by ambulance.
‘During the incident, it was determined the woman was listed as a missing person from the Longview Texas Police Department,’ stated the sheriff’s office.
The woman, who has not been identified, was reported missing hours earlier, just past midnight, in the town of Longview about 25 miles southwest of the lake. The lake is roughly 70 miles northwest of Shreveport, Louisiana.
‘We do not know how long the Jeep was in the water,’ said Rogers.
The SUV presumably entered the on a boat ramp off a slight curve from a straight rural road.
‘There was nothing uncovered during the investigation to suggest this case was anything more than an accident,’ Rogers said.
Police records administrator Melissa Dobbs told NPR that no further information could be immediately released ‘given the details of this case’.
The episode had a much happier ending than another attempted rescue in Lake Eloise in Florida a few weeks ago. Two men who leaped into the lake attempting to rescue a stranded woman on March 20 have been presumed dead by authorities. They have been identified as Orlando Ortiz, 32, and Jeffrey Marrero, 34, trying to save Velcky Velazques, 38, from drifting away after an anchor mishap.
