I deep-cleaned every room in my house – from mounds of fluff to hideous brown water, the results will make you gag
A TikTok cleaning whizz has stunned her followers by sharing the result of her carpet deep-clean.
Georgia – aka Cleaningcorner – revealed her grand plan to deep clean every room of her home in a week and got so much dirt up from her carpet, people say they’re addicted.
Posting to social media, she said: “I’m going to clean a different room of my house everyday for a week.
“So let’s start with the dirtiest but probably the most satisfying job: the carpet on the stairs.”
Georgia begins by filming herself filling a special hoover with water.
Then she grabs a pet hair scraper and gets to work sweeping it across the floor in clean movements.
“First of all I used my scraper and removed all of that embedded dog hair and mostly my hair, let’s be honest,” she said.
After lifting mounds of trampled-in dust, pet and human hair, Georgia reaches the most exciting part of her project.
“Then it was wet vac time and it did not disappoint,” she shared.
Georgia zoomed her camera into a single stair step and filmed the wet vacuum cleaner sucking up tonnes of dust and grime.
As the water sucked up the debris, viewers could see the clear liquid turn brown.
“Look at the colour difference between the top and the bottom,” she said, showing her followers a split screen of what the carpet looked like before and after using the wet vacuum.
“There were so many stains that I didn’t even know were there,” she added.
Her job complete, Georgia lifted the bucket from the wet vacuum and held it up to the camera.
Litres of dirty brown liquid sloshed from side to side, displaying just how much grime was stuck in the fibres of her carpet.
She then filmed her bathtub and she poured the dirty liquid down the drain in a sea of froth and bits of dust.
Hundreds of people shared their opinion on Georgia’s deep clean and while the resulting dirt was disgusting, it left everyone so satisfied.
One user confessed: “These machines are addictive. Literally ended up doing my whole house with my Bissell [wet vacuum].”
A second gushed: “OMG so satisfying.”
And a third chimed: “Another reason why I don’t wear shoes on my carpet.”
There was only one small problem people picked up on, and that’s where Georgia poured her water.
Everyone claimed that she should never pour it down the bathtub drain.
