Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has been questioned by the Vigilance Bureau for seven hours in a disproportionate assets matter. Channi claims that the probe is "totally political" and criticizes the state's Aam Aadmi Party government for treating him worse than even the Mughals. The bureau had initially requested Channi to appear for questioning on April 12, which was allowed to be delayed to April 20, but the date was advanced again.
