A gunshot victim arrived at area hospital after second shooting in Hartford Thursday night. Police say incidents appear to be unrelated.
Police are investigating after a man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound following a second shooting in Hartford on Thursday night.
Officers responded to St. Francis Hospital at about 10:50 p.m. after the victim arrived at the hospital with an injury not considered life-threatening, according to the Hartford Police Department.
Investigators discovered that the victim, a man in his 30s, was shot in the 200 block of Branford Street. The Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions are investigating.

A Hartford police spokesperson on Friday said the shooting on Branford Street has no relation to a shooting reported earlier Thursday on Vineland Terrace.
There have now been a total of 21 nonfatal shootings in Hartford so far in 2023, according to police.
