I’m a female cop – I showed the most awkward part of wearing our uniform, women say the ‘struggle is real’
A FEMALE cop has exposed the hold her uniform has over her when she’s on duty.
She showed the awkward part of the mandatory attire, and women claimed her “struggle is real.”
Michelle (@pickamic) posted a video of her adjusting the heaviest aspect of the uniform.
The law enforcement worker wore long-sleeve zip-up and thick green cargo pants.
She stood in front of her desk, pulling up her waist buckle.
While her clothing was light, the holster made one decision hard for her.
“Being female in law enforcement you always got to ask yourself if the bathroom break is worth it,” Michelle admitted.
And her bulletproof vest doesn’t help her situation either.
She fastened the clips she took off to remove the holster from her body.
Michelle pulled the weighted vest over her head and tied it around her back.
Now, the on-duty cop wasn’t going to the bathroom for a little while.
Fellow female police officers commented on the relatability of Michelle’s video.
“Nope, it’s not worth it. I’d rather hold it,” an experienced woman admitted.
“Still be a 10-minute bathroom break. The struggle is real for all females,” another remarked.
One viewer said: “It feels like a 12-hour shift putting on all that gear.”
“Seriously! That little panic when you hear a call come in,” one officer added.
“I undo my belt, sit, and fasten my belt to my thighs. Nothing physical comes off,” a woman wrote.
A helpful individual noted: “I pop the two belt keepers in the front. It works. Just take the radio off so it doesn’t fall in the water.”
