No one's mentioned BB King, amazing guitarist

I mentioned him about four posts into the thread. My all time favourite, alongside T-Bone Walker and Chuck Berry (who was massively influenced by T-Bone). Not technically the best, but the most soulful and iconic, for me anyway.

There’s a player out there called Tim Lerch who might not be known to anyone. He was a student of Ted Greene. He also offers courses, a few of which I’ve subscribed to. He plays the most smoky, bloody tasteful jazz/blues that I think I’ve ever heard.

Although not my thing, I can’t recall seeing Steve Vai or Joe Satriani mentioned and they really should be.
