I’m a mum and there’s a ‘cute’ item that you should never buy your kids – it puts them in immediate danger

A CRIMINOLOGY expert has revealed the one thing you should never buy your kids despite it being ‘cute’.

Dannah Eve has a degree in criminology and psychology as shares regular safety tips to help parent keep their kids safe.

She revealed the item you kids should never have on them in public in a TikTok video online.”

She said: “Here’s something that is super cute but is something that you should never buy for your children.”

Dannah said never let your child leave their house with a backpack of item of clothing with their visibly on it.

She said: “Backpacks or clothing with their name on it.”

Dannah admitted if your child is still a baby you can probably can away with them having this item. 

“Now when they are tiny babies this doesn’t really apply because you’re there with them and they are most likely in your arms at all times.”

“Let alone they won’t be responding to their names quite yet.”

She said: “But if your child is off school age and they walk to and from school by themselves or they just go to school in general a backpack with their name on it or clothing with their name on it can unfortunately put them in a very dangerous situation”

Dannah explained predators will use this item to lure you child. 

“Predators don’t come off as these monstrous people, they come off as genuine good people. They are unbelievable at luring your child away with them.”

Dannah says you never want a predator to learn your child’s name. 

“Now giving them access to their name is something that you never want to do.” 

“Because let’s face it the second somebody has said a child’s name and they turn around, that person now automatically has an upper hand.” 

“They now have the ability to make that child think that they know them or that they know their parents.”

Dannah’s video gained over 300,000 views

Many parents agreed the criminology expert was absolutely right.
