Former EastEnders Ben Mitchell actor looks worlds away from character in dapper pic
FORMER EastEnders actor Harry Reid looks completely different to his character in a new Instagram story post.
The 30-year-old portrayed Ben Mitchell in the BBC One soap opera for four years.
Showing off his fresh look, Harry posted a snap of himself on his Instagram story looking suave in a navy suit and red tie.
The actor posed for the picture while puffing a cigar and captioned the post: “Wedding attire yesterday”.
The picture was followed by another post of the TV star and his Witness For The Prosecution co-star Naomi Sheldon who wore a beautiful black floral maxi dress.
Harry’s look is a far cry from the fictional character he plays on the BBC soap who was trademarked for wearing thick-framed specs.
The star took over the role of Ben Mitchell in 2014 when Phil found out his son had been released for a whole month before realising.
In 2018 Harry left the soap and Max Bowden took on the role which made him the sixth actor to play the famous character.
Announcing the news on Instagram of his departure, the actor said at the time: “Hello everyone, just a quick message. I wanted to say a few words because my last episode of EastEnders is going on air in 10 minutes.
“I just wanted to say thank you really, thank you to everyone who’s been supporting me during my time on EastEnders.
“To the fan groups and all the collages they’ve done and the videos. You know everyone on here on Instagram and Twitter – on all social media that’s really documented my time on there and I really appreciate it.”
After leaving EastEnders, Harry went on to play Leonard Vole in the stage production of Witness for the Prosecution.
