After 20 month Covid crunch, US new car prices at last drop
IRVINE, California: Data from automotive research company Kelley Blue Book revealed that the average transaction price of new vehicles in the US fell below the manufacturer's suggested retail price for the first time in 20 months.
In March, the average sales price of a new vehicle fell 1.1 percent to $48,008, compared to $48,558 in February. However, March prices rose 3.8 percent, compared to one year earlier.
