I’m 5’9” and a size 18 and I did a Boohoo denim shorts haul but it was the biggest fail ever – absolutely nothing fit me
A MID-SIZE fashionista has revealed that she ordered a selection of denim shorts from Boohoo, but was left very disappointed when they arrived.
Hayley (@styleliving_), is a 31-year-old fashion fan that is 5’9” tall and wears a size 16-18.
She recently explained that she ordered a haul of denim shorts from Boohoo, ready for Summer, but unfortunately was unimpressed when she tried them on.
Not only did none of the shorts fit her correctly, but they were all far too big.
Taking to TikTok to share her disappointment at her new purchases, she shared her clip with the caption ‘Well… this haul was a massive fail. I’ll try again with a shorts haul.’
She said: “Welcome to the biggest disaster of a haul.”
First of all, Hayley tried on a pair of black distressed shorts, as she noted: “I really, really love these. I’m gonna try and get them in a 16, because I love how they sit, but they were just a bit too big.”
Following this, she modelled a pair of blue shorts, as she added: “Then we went for the tall range, they were just huge which is strange because I always have to normally get an 18 in shorts. It wasn’t working.”
Then she tried on another pair of blue shorts, but things were equally as disappointing, as she continued: “Again, another tall range. I really liked the look of these on the model.
“They were horrific, but they still didn’t fit.”
Finally, the TikTok user tried on a pair of light denim high-waisted shorts, as she shared: “These, I love.
“I’m definitely gonna try and get these in a 16.
“I think with the flared out, they just make my legs look skinnier, but they don’t fit.”
At the time of writing, Hayley’s clip was posted just one day prior, but it has quickly amassed 12.8k views.

Social media users commented on the look of the shorts and suggested she buy them in a smaller size or get them tailored.
One person said: “The flare ones are lush, what about getting a seamstress to take them in?” to which Hayley replied “I’ve ordered in a 16 today in the black and flared! Fingers crossed.”
Another added: “I don’t know what’s happening with clothes sizes lately they’re all over the place” to which Hayley explained “I know! I’m always an 18 in shorts so not sure why they’ve changed so much!”
A third commented: “Do you have a link for the flared shorts?” to which Hayley noted “I’ll find a link babe and put it on my Insta.”
Hayley later explained that she had ordered the shorts in a small size, as she added: “The 16 fit, they came today haha.”
