CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was up 8 cents at $6.9250 a bushel; May corn gained 9.25 cents at $6.74 a bushel; May oats rose 6 cents at $3.46 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 5 cents at $15.1425 a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr. live cattle rose .60 cent at $1.7575 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle fell .20 cent at $2.0545 a pound; Apr. lean hogs gained 8.18 cents at $.80 a pound.
