Hockey India on Monday announced Chennai, Tamil Nadu as the hosts of the Asian Hockey Federation's marquee event to be held in August



Bengaluru: Excited about playing the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Chennai 2023 in front of hockey fans in Chennai, Indian Men's Hockey Team Captain Harmanpreet Singh expressed his team's eagerness to take on Asian rivals at home this year. He said, "For many of us it will be the first time that we will be playing in Chennai. I remember our seniors talking about the Asia Cup in 2007 held in Chennai which was a great tournament for India, defending the title in a successful campaign."
