No word from Montana governor whether he will sign ban of TikTok

BILLINGS, Montana: Montana's Republican-controlled House has approved a bill banning the use of social media app TikTok in the state, with a vote of 54-43 in favor of the measure.

The state's action has made it the first in the United States to ban the app, and will be a testing ground for the efforts of many national lawmakers to ban TikTok, due to concerns over potential intelligence risks posed by Beijing.
