I ditched highlights, fake tan and eyelashes for a natural look…I miss my old style but people say I look better natural
A WOMAN has revealed that she ditched blonde highlights, fake tan and huge eyelashes for a more natural look.
And while Erica Roberts misses her old style from time to time, everyone has said that she looks much better natural.
While many women will wear make-up to give them a confidence boost, in a recent social media trend, we are seeing more and more people ditch the heavy beauty products and embrace their natural beauty.
And Erica is one of those that has started to embrace her natural hair and skin.
Taking to TikTok to show off her make-under transformation, Erica shared pictures of her with and without her heavy glam.
She said: “Me after realising [that] highlights, thick fake lashes and 12 layers of fake tan isn’t for me.”
In the clip, Erica shared a picture of her prior to her make-under.
Her skin was heavily tanned, her face was airbrushed with lots of make-up and complete with large fluttery fake eyelashes.
As well as this, her hair was light brown with blonde highlights.
Shortly after, we saw Erica showing off her new look – a much more natural style.
Her hair was dark and her make-up noticeably less heavy with the fake eyelashes nowhere to be seen.
Although happy with her new look, Erica admitted: “I do miss a full glam look now and then though.”
Erica’s clip has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly amassed 12,300 views.
It has 730 likes and 15 comments.
Social media users were stunned at Erica’s transformation and were eager to compliment her new natural look in the comments.
One person said: “I love this trend, natural looks better everyyy timeeee.”
Another added: “Second is way better.”
A third commented: “You so gorgggg.”
However, not everyone was as convinced and some thought that she had used filters on her before picture.
One user claimed: “One has a filter and the other is without filter. Side eye” to which Erica responded “There’s no filter, don’t be bitter.”
Whilst someone else chimed in: “It’s the exact same makeup, just a different hair colour and no filter on the nose.”
