Celtic Manager Ange Postecoglou On Premier League Club’s Shortlist

Chelsea are looking for a new manager to bring in at Stamford Bridge, with Frank Lampard currently guiding the side through to the end of the season as caretaker.

Former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann has withdrawn from the race and ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is the current favourite.

He has held positive talks with Chelsea, but is not the only name on the shortlist, with Postecoglou also one of those under consideration.

The Australian’s work at Celtic Park has been noted and he has won plaudits for his side’s attacking style of play.

Postecoglou is an outsider for the role though as Chelsea assess what they want to do.

After the disastrous appointment of Graham Potter, the Blues want to make sure that they bring in the right man through the door.

Chelsea are looking at having no European football on the agenda for next season and it is unclear how much money the new manager will have to spend following a splurge in the last two transfer windows.
