Holly Willoughby shares fresh health update after sparking fears she’s quitting This Morning
THIS Morning host Holly Willoughby has shared a health update with fans after being forced off air as a result of getting Shingles.
The TV presenter, 42, did not appear last week on This Morning as originally planned.
Having taken two weeks off for the Easter break, Holly had been expected to return to the programme at the start of the week alongside Phillip Schofield.
The pair had hoped to reunite having spent a lengthy time away from each other as Phillip took some time off of the show as a result of the trial involving his brother.
However, Holly has now told her followers that she has managed to get out of the house for the first time since her illness.
The blonde beauty took to Instagram to share a photo of her dog as she took him out for a walk in order to get back to being her everyday self.
Writing on Instagram, the star penned: “And I’m out of the house… the birds are putting on quite the show today… spring sounds beautiful.”
Holly is expected to return to the sofa on Monday alongside Phillip, the first time in a month that they have fronted the show together.
It comes amid reports that ITV are considering Phillip’s future as her co-host on the show.
Phillip could be axed from This Morning after Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond hosted the show together before Easter – and viewers loved it.
A source told The Mail On Sunday: “It has put an idea into the heads of ITV chiefs – to bring a bit of ‘girl power’ to the show.
“It’s a case of both things colliding. Fans say they are over Phil and they love Alison.”
Leading bookmaker Coral has also slashed the odds to 4-5 (from 3-1) on Alison being named as a main This Morning presenter across the full week in 2023.
